GENETIC TOXICOLOGY

The assessment of genetic toxicity is an important step for the (eco) toxicological evaluation of pharmaceuticals, industrial and agricultural chemicals, biotechnology products, biomaterials and other compounds. Identifying a potential carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic risk to the human population is crucial in the decision making process of advancing compounds to the market. NOTOX has over 25 years of experience of working in this field.

Our genetic toxicology services include a broad range of in vivo and in vitro assays which are designed according to the most recent international guidelines (ICH, FDA, EPA, JMAFF, USP, JMHW and OECD). The studies are conducted in full compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations.
NOTOX helps its customers comply with the global safety research requirements, and works alongside you, to resolve specialized questions or problems through customized testing programs.

Genetic toxicity studies provide an adequate initial evaluation of the mutagenic and/or clastogenic potential of the compound.

The genetic and in vitro toxicology section at NOTOX has highly qualified and dedicated staff to carry out high quality testing.  Scientists are experienced in working not only with well soluble and stable compounds, but also with poorly soluble, instable, volatile or colored compounds. New developments in the field of genetic and in vitro toxicology are constantly monitored by the team, contributing to continuous development and the integration of new tests into our programs.

Our state-of-the-art, computerized logistical systems enable us to provide you with preliminary results at any time during testing.

Offering expertise and experience combined with use of the latest technology, NOTOX offers you a top quality service which is tailored to your specific needs.
